Looked up good sam RV parks and Swamp Fox came up. Seemed to have a nice review and reasonable. Pulled in about 6:30 pm. Dumpy looking but we were tired and a couple of sites up front looked good enough for 1 night stay. Husband signed in at the night box and picked a site available on the list. First site the breaker box didn't work. Second site wasn't available and third was being used as the locals road. So we took a walk to see if something was available in the back. We figured one night we could handle. Wrong! Walking we were stopped by homeless and ask how long we were staying, ask for money by a drunk and the park was full of rundown rv's with trash everywhere. We left immediately. Don't waste your time. I would run fast as you can. Unbelievably dirty and nasty. Scary people hanging around.
Staff was great, minimal hwy noise considering how close we were. We pulled in during a rain and staff was so friendly and helpful. Nice stop over place for a night or two.
Good accommodation and very friendly atmosphere with clean facilities easy pull through parking for rvs and the grounds are pretty well kept. 30amp retired military $30. Per night very reasonable
Swamp Fox Campground - easy access off I95 in Florence, SC. Staff friendly, Park is quiet and we easily found a pull through site for our 41 ft 5th wheeler. Good place to rest overnight when headed to and from Florida!
Fantastic campground! Nice and quiet just 2 min off of the main road. We came in late and it was not an issue at all. Showers are available 24/7 for no additional cost. And restrooms are always ver clean. There's also vending machines with beverages and a few snacks and their cost is cheaper than at a gas station, so thats nice. Highly recommended
