Take a page from your competition. A Flying J is a full-service location with a restaurant. A Pilot is a smaller lot and just fast-food. And nobody is disappointed at the end of a very long week to find they've parked at some cheap, under-serviced TA or Petro knock-off. (BTW, the little "II" of Petro II often doesn't show up on GPS or Maps. You need a totally different name for these low-service locations that don't live up to TA or Petro time-honored standards.
This place is a joke. I used to prefer TA over pilot & loves because they had a 24 hour, full service restaurant where you could get a freshly cooked, hot meal 24/7. This place just has Popeye's chicken & its closed at 11. I can go to pilot or loves if I want a crappy truck stop experience.
Clean place and decent food @ Popeye's Chicken, However the biscuits could have been a little more fresh. Overall good and attentive staff.
Disappointed that a TA is not a TA. Decades were spent establishing brand standard -- a full-service stop with a sit-down restaurant of sufficient menu for a 34-hour reset. Management is messing with this time-honored model and pissing off a lot of truckers who find themselves trying to do a reset with just fast-food.
Not a bad place. If you do not want to eat at Popeye's, there are a number of good restaurants you can walk to. Larger than normal C store but lacks the sit down restaurant normally associated with TA.
Hi, my man and I are professional truck driver's owner operators and we stayed at this TA over night. In the morning my man bought some breakfast, eggs, grits, fried bologna, sausage and a biscuit. His food is that down home southern food (heart attack food I call it) and it was sooo good surprisingly. I took some bites of all his food and the fried bologna was to die for good! I recommend this restaurant for those that like good tasting southern food.
