The South Carolina room is really nice if you are doing a family history.
Absolutely beautiful building. It reminds me of the federal buildings in D. C.
I love this library, but the issue I have is with the website. Knowing that it was the day before Easter, I checked the website to see if they were open, and it said that yes, they were open. It just said that the open times might vary on Sunday (Easter). I made the trip in only to find out that they were closed. Had the website shown accurate information it would have saved a trip and a lot of time.
Large, modern library with everything available a library should have. Lots of kids programs and adult services. Difficult for the disabled to get in due to the distance from the front door to parking but it is pretty.
great place for kids, students, and adults. their book selection is astounding. I never have to buy books because they always have my favorite authors latest arrivals.
Wonderful selection in a grand building. Children's programs are wonderful and children's librarian is spectacular. That said, the front desk staff could be much more helpful and freidndly Particularly the blonde.
The only negative is the handicap access. If you use a manual wheelchair the ramps would be hard to use. Surprising, since it is a government building.
