Stayed at Quality Inn in Florence, SC. Room was clean, TV worked, continental breakfast was ok, good coffee, had to take off charge for my dog (coupon stated no charge for pets). I will stay there again.
Night staff is unfriendly and not helpful. I got a room here and they told me on the phone it would be 60 flat. When I got there she said it's 80, ok that's not a big deal. But my CELLING FELL. The manger was the only helpful person and I had to wait for her to get there a half hour past when she was supposed to be in at 8. Never going here again.
We found this place on a driving trip. I usually stay off i95 in S Carolina while driving to FL from up North. I'll say that the staff was pleasant but this place was advertised as a hotel and it's just a large motel. The rooms are dated, there are no amenities, the continental breakfast is the worse set up I have ever seen. Now granted, coming from Massachusetts I shouldn't be complaining about a $59 a night room but there are plenty of other places to stay in the area with much better amenities and rooms.
Marley is just the person one hopes to be greeted by at the end of a long hard ride. My room was clean and quiet; the bed was large and comfortable; TV and Wifi worked fine. For me, the concerns about train noise were overstated. Yes, I heard the horn twice, but not that loud. Breakfast was at least average. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance. All in all a good nights rest.
This place is dirty and a dump. Paper on the floor in the bathroom. Maybe from the wrapper or toilet paper itself. The carpet has not been vacuumed in ages. Dirt and pieces of junk all over. The glass is falling out of the door of the microwave. It needs to be disposed of. Had to clean the bathroom counter as it was covered in the previous occupants coffee. Check in took almost 20 minutes as they were getting so many calls from guests about dirty rooms sheets needing changed etc. The sheets are rinkled and yellowish. I suspect they were not changed. The internet is so slow I went to my hot spot on my cell phone. There is a lot better than this. Only stayed here as it was rated a 3.4 star. What a joke. Wyndham should not be associated with dumps like this. Filth
