I really wish 0 stars was an option. The character limit on this review site will not let me tell even half the story of the horrendous experience me and my wife have been forced to deal with over the last couple of months. In short: we were having sewage back up issues and were told by J&C Plumbing all of our sewer lines from our concrete patio to the city line needed to be replaced; we paid to have the whole line replaced; we were told the whole line was replaced, and we have a receipt confirming the statement. However, we are close to 3 months out and I still do not think we are out of the water with our sewage issue as they STILL have failed to replace ALL of the old line (even after they dug up part of old line for a second time). The point is, PLEASE AT ALL COSTS, AVOID J&C PLUMBING. I NEVER want ANYONE to have to go through what we have had to deal with. They were rude and unprofessional, they lied multiple times, they were childish, they were disrespectful, and they were impossible to get a hold of after they got our money. Charged an extreme amount of money, which the supervisor allowed 1/2 of total to be on credit. I was so happy for this. I thought my complaint and issues were resolved. But, the smell from my washing machine line, that a boot that should have been on to prevent the smell in my kitchen sink, was not put in. So you know why I'm complaining...It wasn't put on, Close to $1000.Now supervisor stated he didn't put it on because I said I would wait till I got the money!!!!!!Really? Now, I've been calling but I'm not getting any answer. Voice mail.. I owe him $65. He owes me a fresh smelling lineage to my kitchen sink...Be ware. Owner has threatened a warrant on me for the payment of $65.
Terrible job. Did not fix problem and poor customer service. Never answered or returned calls. Would not recommend to anyone.
We contacted American Home Shield in reference to a plumbing issue we were having. They sent out J&C Plumbing(we have had issues with this contractor previously) and they installed an outlet and cleared the blockage, or so we thought. Less than three hours later the sink was stopped up again. We contacted American Home Shield and we were contacted on a Thursday by J & C Plumbing. We were told someone would be at the house 8 o'clock Friday morning. At two o'clock that afternoon no one had contacted us. I called the technician and he stated that he had a lot of jobs and asked if he could come Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Saturday morning we waited until about 11 o'clock we had not heard from anyone. We called the technician and he told us that he had another job and that he would be at our home in an hour and a half. It was now 4 o'clock and still no technician. We contacted the owner of J & C Plumbing. He stated that he thought the issue was resolved and that he would contact the technician. It was now 5 o'clock and we still had not heard from anyone. We called American Home Shield the customer service representative contacted the owner of J & C Plumbing. The owner stated that he had several jobs scheduled before ours but someone would be at our home shortly. We then received a phone call from the technician stating that he was at the emergency room with his grandchild and asked could he come Sunday morning. We then contacted American Home Shield they contacted the owner of J & C Plumbing. J&C Plumbing said they will get someone else to come to our home and that that person should be here in about an hour, that was at 5:20 p.m. it was now 7:20 p.m. and still no technician. I called the owners of J&C Plumbing and of course he would not answer my phone call because now he recognized my number. I contacted American Home Shield but it was Saturday and they close at 7 p.m. it is now 8:27 May 6, 2017 and my sink is still blocked!
I originally called on 12/11 to report the issue to American Home Shield (home warranty company) and we were assigned J&C Plumbing. The technician came out and assessed the problem and attempted a repair that failed. He stated he did not have time to finish it all that day and needed to return another day. I was ok with that nd set up another appointment. He missed the appointment. I have contacted the J&C plumbing company multiple times. They have scheduled 2 appointments (after the initial appointment) and have not shown up to either one of them. I am at 2 1/2 weeks and its STILL not done. I contacted the warranty company and changed plumbing companies. Maybe I can get a working shower now
