I don't even know how to describe the relationship we maintain with Companion, other than simply stating that they are like an extension of our family. Not only do we trust them and their compassionate staff to house our fur babies while on vacation, but they have lovingly walked with us through the most tragic times of our life. Dr. Davis is a Godsend, for she stood by our side with empathy and experienced our sorrow as we said good-bye to my son's 15 year-old best friend. Her usual jovial spirit transitioned this day from our medical adviser, to our friend and trusted family member in grief. As busy as they are, even Jennifer, the owner, has taken the time compassionately recall our journey upon the various visits that have followed, sharing her own personal experiences and relating to our pain. At Companion, there's a sense of unity, as the entire staff is professional and loving- they genuinely care for the animals they tend to and embrace the families that are seeking treatment, caring for each pet as if it were one of their own. Just recently, my daughter's cat suffered from a mysterious illness (Fever of an Unknown Origin). Each day we visited him, the staff became part of our family, as we'd celebrate together each small milestone of his healing. I am thankful for Dr. Davis and her quick response and trouble-shooting tactics, for the illness that would usually prove to be fatal for a cat, was discovered and treated. During those dark days while we waited, she remained upbeat, yet gentle with the diagnosis. She certainly followed the right path for a career choice, for the love she demonstrates for these animals and their families is evident! She is an asset to Companion and I will never go any place else, for there, you will find a network of an extended family that understands and loves your pet as much as you. For this, Florence is blessed.
We have used both Dr Lockhart and Dr Davis for years. We know that not only do the vets but the entire staff care about our animals just as much as we do. Every time I go, at least one of the members comes from around the staff desk to love on either of my dogs, or peeps their head in to say hi to my dogs and I while I'm in an exam room waiting for something. They have always done all they could do for any of our animals, researched if they didn't know the answer/called colleague, and been honest enough to refer us to a specialist if they couldn't help with the issue. I appreciate how much research and time they put into figuring out issues with our animals- you can tell their heart is in the right place at this vet clinic.
We absolutely love the staff at Companion! They have been our vet since our dog was 8 weeks old and we have had nothing but great experiences with them. It's an affordable place with a staff that truly cares about the animals.
I love Companion! The front office staff is kind and helpful and the veterinarians are top notch. My dog was injured and they saw me quickly and then followed up several times with phone calls to make sure he was doing okay. Their pricing is also reasonable.
My pets have been patients here for 12+ years. We have used all the services they offer from boarding and bathing to emergency care. My 18 year old Corgi/Jack Russell mix owes her life to Dr. Davis. She has saved her many times. They go the extra mile to make sure that my pets get the care they need. The vets are knowledgeable and competent. They provide top of the line care and offer affordable options based on my pets needs and our ability to provide for them. I am friends with many of the vets in the area, but CVCC holds a special place in my heart.
