Big shout out to Carolinas Hospital System
Emergency room is a joke...the people working in the emergency room were a joke...they need to shut the doors on this imposter of a hospital...what a joke...if I lived in Florence I'd go to a vet clinic before I'd go there...McLeod ain't hittin on much either...sad for the people of Florence and surrounding counties...smh
It is hit or miss. I have disabilities, and while I USUALLY get kind, compassionate, care in the ER, it is NOT followed by tye floor doc. If you get STUCK on the fifth floor, beware of the African hospitalist. He will question your true pain and tell you that you are nothing more than a drug seeker.
Five minutes after my brother passed away in Nov. 2016 there they were wanting me to tell them what to do with him. I was trying to call family members and they kept bugging me like they wanted to push him out the door. Then when I got home they called and wanted me to donate body parts. Very cold and impersonal if you ask me and I was offended by their lack of compassion.
Hospital staff is rude and nurses have horrible bed side manors.
Straight up BS. Working with a lawyer to sue for negligence! Maybe MONEY will help with their attitudes and neglect!

We were told by the ER nurse on the phone to come back to the hospital that they would probably send home our family member. We get to the hospital and the doctor said that they are keeping her.
