Instead of waiting 3 hrs. at my daughters regular doctors office, where they rarely spend any time with you or answer your questions, because they are way too busy making all of that money to be bothered. (their office visit with my insurance is $125.00). I decided to take her to the clinic at Walmart, we received the best care from Max (Maxine), she spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions and suggested getting a few tests run when I mentioned an unrelated issue. Max called me back on the test results barely 24 hrs. later. Because of her we have learned that our daughter is at risk for diabetes. Had she not run the tests, we would have never known. I am thinking I will throw my daughters regular doctor to the curb. The visit was $40.00 and the (2) tests were $8.00 each. Oh and I forgot to mention, we waited just 15 minutes, if even that.
If I could give a negative five stars I would. There is only one PA that actually seems to care about her patients, but she was never in the office when I took my mom in. Long waits, uncaring staff, and the last person that she saw wouldn't even address what we came in for. The PA that does seem to care was unable to find an affordable inhaler for my mom, and now my mom is in the hospital because of not having the inhaler. I do not recommend this place, unless you like waiting for hours even with an appointment, or don't truly care about your health care. It's a good idea to have a clinic like this, but unfortunately they don't function as they should. Extremely dissatisfied and I tell people NOT to go here.
I've been waiting on a referral to see a good Orthopedic Doctor for over a month now. I called the number again this past Tuesday and of course it routed me to their call center where I ended up filing a complaint and was supposed to receive a call back from a "Supervisor" but I have yet to receive a call back and it's Thursday. Someone named Caroline never saved the list of Doctors that I gave her a little before Labor Day which prompted me to call again on 9/17 to get an update. Clearly I've been patient enough and it's safe to say that I will never come to this location again. I was seen by Dr. Mccray and as far as I'm concerned, she was paid for the "preventative" visit and couldn't care less about anything else. There is a shortage of good Doctors/Practitioners, medical staff out here but I'll continue searching for a good Doctor on my own.
