Very nice store and people.

I've had a good relationship with this store , I have been treated fairly when I was spending money with them. I have bought the Payton set. Spent approx $5,000 with havertys. I have had multiple issues and they have swapped out sets with me a number of three times. The quality of the set I purchased is not what I expected it to be. This is the fourth time a technician has been to my home and said the pieces needed to be replaced under warranty and I was approved for a re selection. The technician told me the pieces I had were going to phase out ( not sure when ) also said my pieces couldn't be repaired - replacement was what would need to happen. Then I was informed by Georgia call center / headquarters etc. that the florence store would contact me within 24-48 hours. By not hearing from anyone for five days I made a complaint and got a call immediately after. Spoke to a woman there who was very pleasant and remembered who I was and was understanding of my frustration. She informed me she would have store manager call me. The manga are called me , started to talk about re selection - I told him that we have looked in store. Online and there wasn't anything I would feel satisfied with from havertys. He started to reference the negative feedback I left online. Then said he didn't want furniture back that someone had for three years . Told me my feedback was not accurate and that the pieces were not phased out and he had them in his store still. And said there was no communication about the florence store needing to contact me from the customer service center etc. he had a disgusting attitude to begin with so I returned the favor by saying let me get you straight right now. All the information I put online was information that I gained by technician and customer service center in Georgia. All which I relayed in a survey.. not a review. It was a survey so that way I could get the issue resolved and give them an opportunity to correct it. This is the 4TH time I have had this same issue since 2014. They have replaced this set with same set 3. (THREE) times. I just simply don't want the same set to be honest because of past issues.. and I'm fed up with managers thinking well , we have your money and that's that ( I was told by customer service center refunds are avail- florence store said they don't do refunds - ? Even though this is an ongoing issue I've had since 2014 and I purchased 5 year service plan from them as well. -- five year plan extra costs and I've only had them 3 years and they've been replaced 3 times and this makes number 4 FOUR) . It's not about the money. It's about the disrespect and lack of professionalism the store manager showed while dealing with the issue. I'm a small business owner in the medical field and I can tell you I understand customer service fully. And professionalism for that matter and deal with professionals everyday including EMS , Fire Dept, Law Enforcement, doctors and other medical personnel. I've never been one to leave a review. I just learn from my experiences and move forward. I just hope that havertys handles the situation better from here on out. And I won't be spending my money with florence store again. It was ridiculous and childish. I'm sure if havertys was able to see how he conducted himself they would see he isn't mature enough to handle customer service. It takes integrity and that's something I feel he lacks. And I say this assuming he is even a store manager. I will get his name and post it as well. I would be completely satisfied to receive reimbursement and gladly give them the pieces back.

Very nice merchandise, a very helpful staff, and very acceptable orices for the quality. I purchased a sofa and absolutely love it.
