The food was hot and fresh. However the service was lousy. Instead of the waitress offering me another plate for the buffet or refilling my tea, I had to flag her down and ask her every time. When I went to get more vegetables, she took away one of my plates I was not even finished with. I asked for more tartar sauce for the fish and she returned with ONE packet. Really folks? Are you trying to save your condiments for the customers who really matter or what??
I usually don't write reviews but after reading the reviews we went there. I want to write an honest review because it seems like all the reviews I read were not honest. The food seemed to be coming out in steaming trays as though it was hot, yet most of it was cold. The fried chicken and ribs had no flavor. The mashed potatoes looked a little lumpy like home made yet when you put them in your mouth they were smooth and did not taste good at all. The coleslaw was warm and gross. The mac and cheese was not bad. The stuffing seemed like the took the croutons from the salad bar which by the way were mushy and stale and pureed them in a blender with stuffing flavoring, it was terrible it was like eating baby food with tiny little hard things it in. The bread was not good, the bread stick was gross, It tasted old and stale. What dessert bar? They had a little bar next to the ice cream with old toppings that some were hard to tell what they were. They had something that looked like banana pudding with no pudding in it. They had some cookies on top of the bread station. The cookies were ok, but they only had out 2 chocolate chip cookies the whole time. There was another dessert over by the salad bar. I am not sure why they were spread through out. I would not go back there.
Good hot food, massive variety, clean atmosphere, polite servers, fresh well stocked salad bar with fruit. Sirloin tips and the fried chicken was off the hook good. And best of all... The air conditioning wasn't up so high that we froze and the food gets cold. The temperature is perfect. Loved all of it.
Good place to eat... bathrooms right at front when you come in, but small area. Food is good...prices fair for buffet.
Steaks and salad bar are good, buffet is average. We usually only go with coupon, or for the sirlon tips. Wait staff is experienced and friendly.
