Went here late one Sunday afternoon not intending on buying anything necessary, just browsing, but found an unbeatable price on a 55 gallon fish aquarium kit. Problem was I was driving my Mustang and the aquarium wouldn’t fit! By now it’s closing time and this tall gentlemen approaches and asks how far we lived from there. Turns out, he is the owner of Pet Lovers and offers to deliver the aquarium! He followed us home and helped us unload the tank, nicest guy in the world. We have been faithful customers ever since. Hey, can you blame us?
I've been going here for years. Since i was a kid. It's a smaller pet store but is in good condition. I have always had very nice and intelligent employees assist me. I'm am on my way now to get rats for my snake and a parakeet/budgie. I think the bad reviews for this place are competitive companies tyring to over power the small business. I'm 24 and have been happy with this establishment since I was young and thing it is and great place to start a pet experience.
Well, don't make me feel like an idiot because I can't tell the size of something. How about actually check me out when I'm sitting there with items in my hand instead on play with a ferret. How how greet me when I walk in, and acknowledge me when I leave. Bad customer service= customer lost.
A horrible store. Yes, their prices and selection are great, but their animals are clearly suffering. I have gotten both a pet rat, and a pet rabbit from here before, and both have had serious medical issues. When I got my rat, his eyes were so infected they were glued shut with mucus and puss. I bought him out of pitty! The rabbit wasn't as poorly taken care of, but when I brought her home she was pregnant! They don't even bother to separate their males and females. Also, the cages are always dirty and overcrowded. I refuse to support a business that treats animals so poorly!
Took a trip to PetLovers to buy some stuff for my birds and the staff was very helpful.
